After weeks of struggling to find an appropriate audience shot, I was able to shoot one at a public function the other evening.

I first had to create a key layer in order to combine the footage, so I first outlined the audience part I wanted to keep.
I then took that audience section and made two key colors (green and blue), one where the audience is located (green) and one where the original stage footage would be (blue).
Through a couple of layers and keying I was able to combine the footage into the shot below.
Still pictures don’t really show off how good it all is combined. The few seconds these long shots are needed allow a quick and dirty combination of footage to suffice.
I’ll be sending out copies to the actors and posting it on various websites (God Tube, You Tube, Facebook, MySpace).
I’ll have more info on the rollout of Club God in the near future.
